The 8400s seem to be a perfect match for the P5Q boards. I think I remember Weldzilla or someone had one running at 5Ghz on water at one time.

Daniel's on the money about the watercooling, either Swiftech or Koolance would do a fine job. I use Swiftech, it's not a kit though, it's assembled from Danger Den's website:
Let us help you be cool!

Unfortunately, they went OOB several months ago. There are other sources, although DD was legendary for its depth of stock.

I having a little trouble with the settings on Tha maximus Extreme lots

of settings I have never seen before is there a guide somewhere?

Also the Bios is I cannot remember I was thinking of doing a quick

falsh maybe it will add some setting changes the only thing I have

seen so far is compatibility with some memory. I don`t want to

update the bios until it is safe and running smooth I installed window

on it with no problems I need to fix my Cpu cooler so I`m going to

take a break from it for a couple hours and work on that. Also on the

Asus website they have two different Audio Drivers I downloaded

them both this has the PCI-E add in card in it the SupremeFX II with

it. Any suggestions on bios versions? Thanks

Well Started wi the ME a little

CPU-Z Validator 3.1

I got bios 1104 on it dated 07/23/08 pretty easy to flash these so far it is ok At least I think it is letting this cheap CPU cooler break in before going much higher. Hoping I can get another one soon but it is OK never went above 59c but I really never did too much yet I`m having a little trouble figuring out this bios I will look for a guide but right now My legs can fit under my desk with two towers in my way I need more room to relaxIt would not boot at 475 I really need to figure out these bios settings I don`t have a liquid cooler for the NB and it is getting hot around 49c in HW monitor if that is correct also the bios states my cpu is much higher than coretemp and real temp and every other program I use I think the bios is wrong on this board

Well I must be doing something wrong I can only get these CPU`s Stable around 4.2 I just added a Older Thmeltake Tower112 with two fans one at 4687rpm and 75cfm and another maybe 4000 and 70cfm and as5 I donot know much about these tower112`s but I`d love to know if anyone ever used one I lapped it a bit because it was not milled very nicely. BTW my bios has different settings on the P5QC than Muff1n added I have bios 2103 on here 4-27-09?
