Question P4b533 and Win98SE question…

Just bought this mobo and installed Win98SE. The mobo drivers have been installed properly (???) from ASUS CD.

But I have this prob: Device manager still shows “? PCI Universal Serial Bus”!!! The system has already installed 3 USB devices so I really don’t know WHICH usb device Win98 is talking about…

Any ideas???

Make sure any of the onboard devices included with your board that you are not using have been disabled (NOT set to auto if that's an option in the bios).

Otherwise, windows 98 is a real PITA with device configuring/assignments...

While "Pita" is a kind of pocket-bread, "PITA" is shorthand for Pain In The A**. "APITA" is shorthand for A Pain In The A$$. Comes in very handy!
