Trouble? You mean like When Windows update started removing my ENTIRE control panel in Win 2000?Forcing me to reinstall dozens of times to learn how to install and update Win 2000 with the loss of functionality ?No I don't see that kind of trouble since I move to Linux...

Look at it this way you live in a windows slum, a track shack built for everyone but owned by Bill and rented to you at what ever the market can bear...

I live in what ever I and my friends can put together with the free Linux tools we are given free for life or can make for ourselves.

I was building a summer home by the way, My Mint mansion on the hill never was a problem, neither was Fedora as you have been repeatedly reminded, I did this for fun, so did those helping me....God only know why you and Bill do the kind of posting you do...":O}

You remind me of the ol" south where the house slave sneers at the field hands, only in this case your a house slave sneering at a free man who is happy to forgo all that selling yourself to Bill has gotten you in order to avoid any incorrect relationships... a corporate slave just so you can play a game?

"Some men are born slaves":O}

Dan...you couldn't find the .mozilla directory because it's hidden in your home directory under your username. In your file manager there's an option to show hidden directories and files. Enable the option and you're good to go.

You can also use ls -a in a terminal to show all files, including hidden files in a directory. Kind of archaic, but I still use command line for file management.

It would be nice to have something on order of a wiki page in a thread where we could house the little tidbits of info that accumulate in different posts. User additions and such would be cool. Maybe I can start something after I finish up my other AOA project that kind of got abandoned to time constraints.

Since I have been forced to move to Windows for some of my more advanced software I have been able to enjoy linux for a change. It's actually been quite fun creating my own gentoo ebuilds and managing my own overlay out of want to instead of need to. So much so, that I am thinking of letting my own overlays out into the wild. Gentoo devs seem to be overworked as of late so my favorite bleeding edge distro isn't quite so bleeding edge these days..

Thanks T.R! I stumbled onto the hidden directories thing...seems an odd thing to do with directories! ":O}

This revitalization seems to indicate that Moving back into windows was the perfect thing for you to do...despite my reservations concerning your soul...LOL
