| I blew my shot! I was helping Patti with Gedit to Auto login and I must have blow the instructions Post 327, now I can't reach desktop... No back up... I'll be reinstalling Fedora 11 from scratch today....I'll check in with you when I'm there... Sorry Dude for wasting your time....sigh.

| Follow the instructions I gave stopping, before you run nvidia-xconfig. Before running nvidia-xconfig, su to root and run Code: mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.old

| Is it working properly? There was a change in Fedora 11 that I did not catch. Devicekit has replaced hal, I usually let hal detect hardware for the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. If devicekit is doing it's job it should have the same effect..

| Mostly it seems to be working...Nvidia Splash screen at start up":O} But I can't save config to X configuration file. I've tried with "Merge" on and off, at re boot it reverts to Auto... Look at the Nvidia X server settings pic (last one) should I enable "Include X display names in config file" ?

| Upon reboot everything is I as Set it! Thanks Cliff! I can't get Compiz to work, Can't get Real Player to work nor Helix Player, not sure why? Went into "software add and remove" and enabled Compiz, now have an Icon in "Other" folder that says Compiz, but does nothing...
