| Never ever heard of a non working mouse. Also fail to see why an os has to recognize it's monitor at all.

| Personally neither has been an issue for me.

| That doesn't sound familiar to me at all I'm afraid. The only time I've come across mouse issues is when it's been on really old hardware (like a special ISA card that the mouse plugs into). If the mouse is USB HID, it is supported. Mind you, the Monitor not detected and running at 640x480 sounds very familiar - it happens each time I install Windows on a box before the graphics driver is installed.

| Installing x38/p35/x48 motherboards on xp has similar network issues. Until the drivers are installed. And the machine is rebooted. Does vista support x58 nics and southbridges out of the box? Don't know, but ubuntu did.
