Can you try to download Fedora 11 while in Mint?

No, I don't know.... Let me try F12 one more time in Mint 7. Fedora 12 was acting strangely enough to make her suspect, I'll try 12 and if it fails again I'll go for 11

Thanks Chris! I happen to know I'm to busy to answer me, so I contacted Gizmo.If we tried to use Win 7 for our site nobody would be able to download anything! If I tried to use win 7 I would simply die of shame.

What you fail to understand is that I've had trouble downloading this file in two different OS's on two different Hard Drives... meaning it's unlikely to be anything but
1. Comcast.net
or
2. Something with the file I'm downloading.

to be sure we/I am/are now downloading Fedora 11 We are uncertain as Fedora 12 is brand new and we have no history with her as yet.

If you would like to help us try downloading Fedora 12 from the link Gizmo starts this thread with TIA

Dude! That was harsh!

(Funny as hell though......it doesn't pay to be one of Cheney's hunting buddies.....one wonders how much of the tax payer's money was spent getting that guy to not squeal.....)

The reason I ask what file system you are using is because I can download both F12 and F11 just fine on my machine. It occurred to me that it might be a file-system related issue, because of the fact that the file is over 2 GB in size. That doesn't make sense, though, because you downloaded it from the Fedora site without problems.

Frankly, I'm mystified.

I'm going to download F12 from Fedora again and see if that still works... My thinking is that if this completes successfully I'll try to upload it, you can sort it and I'll try to download it from AOA again... just to see our server feak out! ":O}

Uploading it won't really accomplish anything, as I've verified the SHA1 signatures already.

The problem isn't that our copy of the file is corrupt: the problem is that for some reason you are getting something from us that your browser doesn't like, and that seems to apply to both F11 and F12, which is very odd.

I've made the actual file available at http://www.aoafiles.com/Fedora-12-i386-DVD.iso

If you could download that and tell me if that has problems or not, that would help me. As that is a direct link, that file is served directly by apache without any intervention by any PHP code that I have written.
