Some suit needed a bullet-point for a power-point presentation.....It never ceases to amaze me how unbelievably clueless the people making the important decisions are when it comes to the daily use of technology. |

thanks guys i thought i was the only one on crazy pills.. cuz i tried out ubuntu way before this version all bootable and able to boot live thru a USB... of course you had to use something like the Fedora USB installer.. but this one is the exact same.. i downloaded it the same day it came out to give it a test run.. and it still needed to be installed onto a USB by the way of something like Fedora's program or something simular.

The Ubuntu Live CD can be installed on a USB memory stick - I've had to do it from a vmware session in order to fix someone else's laptop, after they killed their boot. Unfortunately I don't remember exactly what I did end up doing - I think I used unetbootin to install it onto the memory stick.

I tend to use the utility available on Boot and run Linux from a USB flash memory stick | USB Pen Drive Linux for the purpose.
