Well, after messing with the ATI drivers, I screwed up the kernel, so I had to install once again. Since I took notes of all the necessary steps for Fedora 8 and all the configurations I want to use.... it only took me an hour. I'm getting pretty good at this. Also, it starts up just fine from the correct grup configuration and it shuts down fine. So whatever messed up in the last install, is fine. Thanks for your help guys.
