Blueish green and moving about like a fast cloud, like the Borealis but at ground level to about 20 feet up, it shows most in wide open spaces and all but disappears when there is a back ground, a building or a trench?

No idea, I've been trying to turn various settings on and off, but really haven't found a cure at all.

ah, if you don't get any positive results, you may want to try the Display settings in Playonlinux.
worth a try...
I would read up on them first
I noticed in Titan Quest those settings made a big difference

Seems to do best in lower settings with everything turned off, playable with annoyances so far...I'll take a look at display settings. Thanks Boo!
