I was hoping, but not really optimistic... Dude! You may have found your Crysis 2! (Poor devil!)

For now its on hold until I figure out how to free up more space. its just a test environment and a 35 Gig partition. I know Mint doesn't take up 20 Gigs, so maybe if I re-install from scratch I'll free up some space.
The main problem is Origin. Its the EA Games version of Steam and I have to run it first before launching a game.
Its stinking Steam all over again for one game!

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is running Great in Mint 14

I finally got a copy of Skyrim, so if I have enough HD space, it will be my next test

Exactly!
I have Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion & now Skyrim.
I will eventually try them all in Linux.
Daggerfall is now totally free, but only runs in DOS, which means it should run find in DosBox

There is a modification for Daggerfall called DaggerXL where its getting a graphical overhaul and the engine is being moderized a bit.

Bioshock runs GREAT!
For some reason it won't use DirectX 10 capabilities, but otherwise, its beautiful!

We need to take another look at Fallout 3. POL no longer supports it's install in 4.1.8.

I had it running in Mint 13, but it's a no go in 14 with the POL update.

Brink runs pretty good... on lower resolutions at least.
I tried increasing resolutions to support my widescreen, but the frame rates were too low to play.
Otherwise, its beautiful and DOES run...
This is a direct x 10 game and uses Dot Net Framework 4.0
Yeah Wine!

I installed DirectX 10 but its hard to tell if its actually running.
I noticed Bioshock had a DirectX 10 option, but it was greyed out.

I looked up Brink system requirements and it does run on DirectX 9c
Amazing how much they can push the DirectX 9!

I saw the same thing when trying to get Cryis 2 to run, blanked out DX 10 and Ultra settings.

Ok, tell no one of this!

I bought a PS3 copy of Crysis 2...there I said it! I'm having a ball! ":O}

But the first thing I did when a new POL came out was check out Cry-2...

My day will come and when it does Crysis 3 will run in Wine 15 like a native running towards home! ":O}
