Raspberry PI

I got a Raspberry Pi from my wife. This little computer is about the size of a credit card. It does not look like much but is a real true to life computer. Very easy to set up and looks to be a lot of fun. It runs on a version of linux. I am making a post at this time on it!

It is cute no doubt about it!
I am for sure going to take a closer look at single board computers!

Trolling for pity again ChrisB? We all feel bad you can't seem to work with a descent OS. We are therefore not surprised you can't seem to install it on descent hardware...

(Score another one for the Raspberry!":O}

There you go, nothing to be seen here, move along!

Actually is pretty small and pretty if you are a geek but the question is, can it run a decent OS?

My geek question is... does it run games?

I've seen a youtube video of someone running Quake on it, but thats about it.

I originally ordered a Rasberry Pi but it was on back-order. By the time it was ready, they messed up my order and didn't charge me for it.
At the same time I couldn't afford it...

I'll try again at another time.

Hook up an SSD (Or a mechanical if you must) and it will give you Mint 15 with all the trimmings... That's the whole point as I understand it!

Rasberry Pi already has an SD slot for flash memory cards.
You can get 16 Gig cards, and load games on it.

The bottleneck is really the video chip.

I guess some software is missing there.

Do some research on Fedora's and Ubuntu's Rasberry Pi distro... you may have more success with those...
Otherwise, I bet flash player isn't installed... or maybe there needs to be an update?

Which browser are you using?

I can run enough of an OS on it to man in the middle your SSL connections without you knowing... That's enough for me.
