A Linux developer has published a new kernel patch that provides a workaround to avoid Microsoft's patents on the FAT filesystem.

Every time Microsoft tries to put a halt to open source (due to use of their software/programming) they create motivation of companies and programmers to create more competing open source like

As if they didn't own enough of the digital world, why can't they just let go so us poor folk can enjoy it?
