It was not as repetitive, flashy or blatant as some of the sigs I have seen there - Just a fun hello and invite to come by and see what we have going on.....

I frequented a Linux forum and had a friend that wanted to try Linux. I invited him to the Linux forum and right off the bat he created a sig that broke their forum rules (text sigs only). Needless to say, things deteriorated rapidly and the ship sunk.
