It makes my PC run far too slow. Using my PC became stressful as the WCG was cuasing the PC to slow right down. Even simple tasks, such as clicking the Star Menu, took a long time.
Using my Pc was no longer a pleasure. Now it is gone, my PC is much speedier.
I feel I can support Charities in other ways as well.

That's odd, I don't see any kind of slow downs. Maybe it is conflicting with something specific on your PC.

could be a lack of ram, some units do eat up quite alot of it. only my main rig is usable and that has a gig of ram. my laptop which has 512megs of ram is all out of the stuff when running wcg.

I have 1GB. I don't think I will try WCG again and nor would I ever consider upgrading my PC for the sake of it.
