First of all, it's completely legal. Second, the DCT4 calculator is freeware. The following models are DCT4.

With the exception of the 3650 and the 7650, all the others use Type 2 codes. You don't need to know what that means. The calculator has options for which code you need. Instructions are included in the download. Basically, you run the installer. Rename the file to .zip and unzip it. Then run the installer.

Right click on the download and use "save target as" Then rename the file with a .zip extension. Unzip it then run the install program. I had to do this because the forum won't let me upload a ZIP file.

As far as I know, the more recent SE phones require a cable to unlock. You can probably find someone in your area who offers the service. It's usually pretty cheap. When I had one, I paid $8 to get it unlocked.

EDIT: Great phone BTW. If it only had better reception, I would probably still have it. But then again, being a phone freak, I might not.

Sorry, but the 3410 is a DCT3 phone. To unlock a DCT3 phone, you will need a data cable. I have the software (also freeware), but it's useless unless you have a data cable.

Sorry, but no one will have IMEI changing software. It's illegal in most countries to change the IMEI on a cell phone. You can try to call the carrier again and tell them you found it. Other than that, there's really no way around it.

To get the IMEI on your phone, hit *#06#. It should be the first 15 digits.

It's illegal to change the IMEI on a mobile phone in the UK, without authorisation from the manufacturer.

Most SE phones require a data cable and a logger. This is because SE stores the unlock code in the phone itself. The unlock code has to be first extracted, and then inputted. For the T610, you will have to use this method. The data cable you need is the one for the T28. You can purchase logs at various places all over the net. A google search will probably turn up a dozen or so.

EDIT: Great phone by the way. I have a T616 which is the North American version with different bands, but it's essentially the same phone.
