oh and btw, im on ISDN, with 64kBps connection on each computer...also if i could make one computer dial with 128kBps using both lines even though my ISP doesnt support it, that would be great ...but i really need to be able to disable a shared net connection on one of my PCs...there has to be an easy way :S

cheers,

Ross

Lemme get this right..

You have 3 computers, two of which have external connectivity. All three are linked via a network. You want the machine without external connectivity (#3) to be able to use machine #2 to get to the outside world. That's the bit that was clear!

I'm not sure if you

a) want machine #1 to be able to use machine #2's connection if it's not already connected; or

b) want machine #1 not to share #2 connection.

OK, machine #3 has no internet connection, machine #2 needs to give machine #3 a connection through my LAN, but machine machine #1 has its own connection, and i dont want it to share machine #2's connection through the LAN as machine #3 is doing, i just want it to be able to send files etc to all other PCs.

basically all i want to do is to be able to disable the shared internet connection on machin #1...hope that helps

thanks,

Ross
