I had the same problem with my 'U' key on my laptop. It's broken now, but...yeah..=(. As long as you don't pound it as I did, you should be fine. A small amount of blu-tac underneath the spacebar might fix it temporarily. =) Cheap, but effective!

You could just plug in a standard keyboard when you need to work, you can get ones which fold up.
