I'm not sure I understand what this fellow is on about?

The RadiationResearch.org web site (the organization of which he apparently a member) sites a dozen studies concluding there is no significant health risk from cell phones or base-station masts, and even observes that 'if people are unduly concerned about potential exposures then that in itself may affect their well-being'. In other words, they may induce the very symptoms they fear, by excessive worry.

Now, I'll grant that it is extremely logical to fear microwave radiation when you know that same radiation is what cooks your supper at night, and it is reasonable to aks for research to be done. It is also reasonable to ask that the issue be revisited periodically to examine the longer-term effects. It is even reasonable to challenge some of the study results on the basis of where the funding came from.

But when study after study after study from not just industry advocates, but from government and private researchers with widely varying financial sources, all come to the conclusion that the effects of cell phone usage show no discernable statistically significant correlation to adverse health effects in humans, what are we supposed to do?

I guess, just because he is a member of a particular association doesn't mean he is in full agreement with their stance. In the same way a politician may object to much of their own party's policies. But, you've got to join them to have any real effect.

He produced a report for the UK police on the TETRA radio system a while back:
