Meh. It doesn't do much for me. I don't really see it catching on. I guess they see it as plugging a gap in the market.
But at that price, why not just buy a PSP or PDA or Smartphone?

The tablet runs Linux AIUI so there's a market there right off.

It's WiFi abillities also make it useful for controlling a home jukebox or whatever and you can browse the web. So I think there is certainly a market for that sort of thing.

The PSP browser is a bit limited when it comes to certain things, like video streaming, java, etc.

True. But I'm not convinced this product offers enough to be a major success. It looks more like a niché product to fill a gap (make more money..) than something that is really needed.
How often do you find yourself needing to watch a youtube video on the train? The main use of the internet whilst on the move is most likely email, forums like this, news sport etc. Which the PSP and PDAs and Smartphones already do just fine.

3.5 hours of battery life make it an expensive proposition when using internet connectivity continiously. A 65K colour screen makes it not so great for video/photos. If you're heavily into Linux, they're great (as long as you've got a cross compiler handy). Otherwise they're a bit "That's nice, but what do I do with it?".

A quick spot check on the price would indicate that £300 is rather a lot for a remote control for a jukebox.
