| I forgot the model number, but the Netgear Pre-N with gigabit ethernet is pretty good. As for security, almost all of the newer routers are capable of WPA2. Use a random character generator to create the 64 character passkey and you're pretty much invulnerable. WEP is a joke BTW, any wardriver can crack that in like 10 minutes.

| like I said, no wireless I know all about the security on those, and it can all be cracked far too easily for me to want it in my home... what I'm looking for security wise is just a decent hardware-based firewall... Thanks for the reply though

| I don't know whereabouts you are based, but if you want a cheap and simple router, I have heard quite good things about this one
