3rd Generation iPod's and Windows 2000

The new 3rd gen iPod nano's, iPod classic and iPod touch all requre either Windows XP SP2 or Vista with iTunes 7.4.

Currently there is no way to run a new 3rd gen nano on Windows 2000.

Does anyone know of a work around?

Don't use iTunes. Wait for a 3rd party application to support the iPod. Something like Songbird.

There is a prog on Linux that will support your ipod. Suppose to be like itunes.

I use gtkpod on linux. Works great, you can have as many ipods / music devices as you want connected at the same time. Only thing I don't like about it is the inablility to utilise my windows files on the linux box via the network.
