Asus U1F: Ultra Compact High-End Notebook

X-bit Labs take us on a tour of this laptop:

The U1 series is interesting for a number of non-standard solutions utilized in it. Particularly, the use of new materials (such as magnesium-aluminum alloy, robust carbon fiber, polished stainless steel), LED-based backlighting of the display, longer battery life, etc. Today we are going to take a real close look at this solution in our review!

Problem is its a Merom, which means 32 bit only, and its a Napa platform which is very old.

It's not intended to be a high-performance desk-top replacement; rather, it's an ultra-portable that offers very good battery life with decent performance. (At least, that was my understanding)

Yea, but the thing is Yonah/Napas are fairly inefficient compared with Merom/Santa-Rosas. Power wise the newer chipsets are considerably better.
