How long before SE bring out their Xperia X3 to the market? That might make a more interesting comparison. It's rumoured to bring a Snapdragon QSD8250 running at 1GHz with a 4" touchscreen at 800 x 400 under Android 2... When it makes it to market is another thing entirely.

And then when I get bored of it, it'll be time for the X2! And Aedan, IIRC, the Toshiba TG01 will also be using the Snapdragon architecture, though I'm unsure whether it will be running Android or not.

One of the programmers I work with bought a HTC Dream recently which was one of the main reasons why I chose the iPhone over an Android phone. The thing where you can only execute applications stored in the onboard 256MB flash and not the 16GB of external SDcard flash was a bit of a "err what?" moment, as was the cheap feeling keyboard and the slide out mechanism that felt like the tape ejection system on one of those ultra compact Sony MiniDV camcorders. That and some other shortcomings (particularly in the google apps which were rather poorly implemented, such as the limit of 1 gmail account) stopped me from getting one. That said, I liked the look of the original experia alot, and would rather use Swedish/Japanese electronics over American if I had the choice.
