Sharp Announces 3D Camera For Mobile Phones

I've yet to see a phone than can take good standard photos, or video. Seems they're getting ahead of themselves here.

Bear in mind, Danrok, that you're a bit more demanding of your equipment, and aware of the differences.

For most people, the convenience of having something that can take a quick snap or short video sequences that's built into something they take everywhere anyway FAR outweighs any shortcomings in image quality there might be.

I was just talking with my buddy John saying, I wish there was software that would automatically stitch together some pictures of a subject at mutliple angles and make it 3D.

Maybe it could be born from this?
