Apparently 4x faster than 2.1. Everyone at the Google event got a free HTC 4G Evo. Makes me a sad panda. =(

Not that the Evo 4G would be much use in Europe, as it's a WiMax device. Still, some operators are looking at deploying some version of 4G at the moment.
