LG Optimus 3D P920 phone, any good?
Any thoughts on this phone?
Neowin.net - LG Optimus 3D P920; 3D camera with dual-core/channel CPU

Has 3D camera, and screen.

Will be trading in my old iPhone 3G 8GB soon.

Also known as Thrill 4G.

So, I renewed my contract and got this phone. 3D effect works better than I expected.

I think the main negative point for this phone, is that it uses too much power. Battery does not last even on stand-by.

I may try a higher capacity battery.

After the recent firmware update, battery seems to last longer.

I have ordered this battery:
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

It is 2430 mAh compared to the original battery's 1600 mAh.

Hopefully it lasts longer!

Lasts 24 hours, or so, on stand-by.

Less, or far less, if you use it a lot. You could probably kill it in 3 hours, using GPS, wi-fi, phone, etc.

3D is just a lark on a phone. I don't need it. Probably more useful if you have a 3D TV.

The 3D TV I've seen over here...they lock up the headset viewer so your exactly where one set of eyes would want to be and it still looks halmark fold out card after you've been hit in the head with a hammer...

That's because it's not 3D, but stereoscopic. Same as all so called 3D TVs, etc.

I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!
