Here's what I find unconscionable. There is no penalty in there graphs for using slave labor to build the damn things. (AS how can they not be Damned if children are forced to make them for fat Americans and Europeans?}

So Slavery is back in acceptable circles? Your OK with Kids being forced to make your new phone at 2 am in the morning so you can have it in time for XMas?

Their kids slaving for your kids?

How will we even dare to cry out for mercy when this falls upon us?

You know...I may not be the right kind of person for a teck site, don't know why I didn't think of that before...

They can't so I will, Please don't buy things made by slaves if you can possibly avoid it and still live in this world. Your child's freedom may well depend upon this.

These are made by LG which is a South Korea company.

I think workers get a far better deal there, compared to China.

Not heard of kids working in their factories.

As usual I a dull advocate. I see the apple insignia and I get a little crazy!

Steve Jobs became a 21 century hero by enslaving children. In my country no one cares enough to even hide the fact they use apple products. I think these idiots think it just shows they are a loyal fan.

Personally? I'd press criminal charges against anyone who has an apple product.

That rather depends - Foxconn do a lot of the manufacturing for Apple. If you want to avoid Foxconn manufactured products, you should be cautious of items from:

• Microsoft

Many of these companies produce stuff themselves, so not all their products are going to be manufactured by Foxconn. For instance, Intel isn't outsourcing production of CPUs to Foxconn. Instead, they're probably outsourcing production of motherboards.

And Foxcom is just the one I heard about..there must be others, kids are just so exploitable.

I'm not arguing for effective action as I don't really know if effective action is possible at this time. To be honest I'm rather bewildered that slavery and the products of slavery are freely traded in the US. Slavery in everything from CPUs to sex and we willingly and without concern buy these products.

We support slavers and have not a care.

We only mind if you mention that those use to be good paying jobs here and in Europe, before those nasty kids stole them!

To stand in line to buy apple is one of the most disgusting things I've seen on the American mindless scale. What won't we take from another?

Does modern man see no limitations upon his acts at all?

How can this be fought?

I bitch, I moan, I refuse participation. I try in my way to increase awareness of that fact that :

We imprison people (once in a while) for selling kids on the street for sex... but we line up to buy Apple products and so keep them in slavery.

Buy Apple and we support the worse sort of child abuse.

You're far from alone, the people of China are much the same as us, they're not stupid, and will only take so much abuse from governments and large organisations.

I was alone for the longest time, then I joined AOA and have since had cause to hope.

You give me cause to hope Danrok. You make me feel less alone. I suppose in the end, that's why I'm here, So I don't have to face this all alone.

I really don't know what can be done with such a world as ours. But I do know that just by meeting here in civility and reason we advance the cause of human kind.

We made talking about our troubled world possible. If we can talk, we can search for solutions. I've been in so many life situations where talk was not even possible, reason completely unwelcome.

Thanks for reminding me I'm not alone Daniel, that I have friends who feel my pain.
