Arrow Wireless networking or TP cable??

I'm moving into my new house next friday, and I'm working on a server room in the basement. The workstations will be on 2nd floor. So I was thinking instead of messing around with cables, maybe I should go wireless. Problem is, I don't know what's good, and how to set it up/what I need to make it work.

The network, as it is now, is two Linux servers, set up with a DMZ and firewall, two hubs. I guess I'll prolly have to replace one of the hubs with a wireless "hub" or whatever...or no?(and of course wireless network cards in the workstations)

See if you can borrow some wireless kit first. There's always the risk that you won't be able to get the signal from the basement up to the second floor (or vise versa).

Or you could get this Linksys Router and have the best of both worlds

In case the wireless doesnt work ok, u have the option to do a wired network.

Wire it If you are doing any remodeling, it isn't that much harder to wire it

I'm going to wite CAT5 in to my house this summer, so that each room has 2 ports (Other then bathrooms, they only get one, for sound.) And I think that I will wire in some phone lines too, as we need more! (Only 1 jack per room, and none in the bathroom - It needs at least two )
