US Robotics Model 8000 DSL/Cable router

I have a USR router, and it seems that none of my computers can work at a speed of 100mbps on the 4th port, it keeps alternating the speed between 10 and 100 mbps(the 10/100 led keeps flashing), any ideas?

btw....it works fine at 100mbps on other ports and it also works at the speed of 10mbps on the 4th port.

us robotics model 8000 dsl/cable router (firmware v1.25)

is the 4th port an uplink port or anything with a switch switching it between 10/100 and uplink?

no...it is just a regular switch port on a boardband router with 10/100 auto sensing.(not uplink)

btw i tried to force it to run at 10mbps and it works, but no hope for 100mbps.
