Why I've Decided To Vote Democratic

I'm voting Democrat because:

I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

Freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

When we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I believe a few liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, they'll come over here, and I don't want to have any guns in the house to shoot them with.

I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.
I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

Makes ya wonder why anyone would EVER vote Republican, now doesn't it?

LOL!

I'm voting Republican because I'm tired of having rights I'm to stupid to understand to cowardly to defend....I'm tired of hearing of how the rich should pay taxes When we owe them everything!

Mostly I'm voting Republican because I utterly failed in my personal education to achieve a compassionate understanding of the world. I believe the world is as ugly as the concept I have of it.

I'm voting republican because I lack the intelligence to know where my own best interests lie. I actually think my interest and Bill Gates interests are the same. I think that because I was told to,... instead of being educated to actually think for myself.

But mostly because as republican I get to cut and paste and pretend have a point of view worthy of the name. I can copy anything I find and say "See here! I'm creative, I can think for myself! See it says so in this flyer! I have talking points!!

Being a republican means I'll never have to think again! Not about your well being or my own! I can obey without thought and that's what I'm good at! I'm a Republican!

I was with you until you said your interests are the same as Bill Gates. That's not even funny. We should not say such things even in jest.

LOL...you had me a little scared there. I am glad we are back to normal. Or something like that. Heck, normal is a relative term any way.

You know, I'd love to have all of you guys together over a beer or three and talk about the difference between the way you get the news in the states and the way i hear the news over here. I've often thought that the slant is a lot less in international news: I mean, here I can see BBC, Singapore news, Chinese news [in english], Aussie news, a Japanese channel [if I spoke Japanese], three Thai networks [OK, I can understand those]-as well as FOX news LIIIIIVEEE from New York, the place of my birth...

The bottom line is, y'all hear things I don't, and I [more than likely]hear things you don't. Wonder if the truth lies somewhere......between? For me, the current election isn't too difficult to decide.

Don't ask. I won't tell. Probably.

You think that because we get the privilege of "Network News" we get the truth? You have been away to long! Interpritation is in the eye of the beholder! If you subscribe to the idea that U.S.A. news is the least censored [I do but I have never seen any other news programs either] then Fox is as good as any other. You just don't have any way to see a compairison to the different bias that they all have.

The beer or three and the B.S. sounds good. Steaks anyone? Ron Paul for Prez?

Why did you assume that I was saying the US network news was unbiased? Far from it.

You are a professional at missing the point ;l) Think about that

In fact, I was trying to say quite the opposite...I'm 50 and lived for only about 20 solid years in the states. The rest of my life? Elsewhere/everywhere. Career makes some tough choices for us sometimes. I've seen both sides of the fence, believe me

I did miss it, didn't I? Damn, Why does that happen some times? [ No comment please!]
What is it you do that keeps you away for so many years? Must either be important and gives you a great deal satisfaction or it pays an incredable amount of money.
Maybe both.

Me? I'm truly in a quandary!

Either someone is just making these polls up or

1/2 of America is so much dumber than I could have ever conceived of them being...To dumb to care for their own children! To dumb to preserve their own liberty! To dumb to be able to tell the difference between a flawed but intelligent and reasonably sincere man, though he has made compromises I would never have made;and a creature devoid of principle or substance like John Macain.

The man isn't just a shallow liar, he is pure evil in the intention behind the lies he tells. The Man hates the American Military and that is revealed in every vote he has cast.

But he does have this going for him...He's a tried old white man who dumped his wife and kids for a rich broad he met in a bar... He's "fit" to "Morally" lead the nation.

As is his VP!
Her Auto-bio:
"The Bridge to no where that took me to the White house!"

But when half of America thinks they are grand! What am I to think other than the human race is flunking the most basic of intelligence tests...survival...? We are 1/2 way
