If you wanna OC that 1600+, a more expensive mainboard will make it a lot easier. What, you want the moon for $108? Sheesh, a mobo was $135 and a SwIntel CPU was $200 not so long ago.

hummmmm......... ya know that Duron running at 1.33 does run pretty hot. I wonder if my IWILL will support an XP?!?!?!?

Any Duron 1Ghz and over run on the same requirements as an AXP. Essentially, a Morgan core Duron is an AXP missing some cache.

I think the one to get now though is the 1700+ T-bred. It should be able to get to around 2000Mhz or so and it's only $63.00.

Seems the next great AMD overclocker is taking hold at the low end Tbreds. 1700+ is going for 63, and should be at least 100-200mhz faster than the 1600+ palaminos.

Cloasters.... the K7s5a, with the oc bios... some 2700 mem, paint the bridge (for 1.85v), and 166fsb & 25% overclock should be easy.
