I just wanna say, this is an awesome gadget. First of all, the thing's tiny, about 1 inch by 1 and half inches. The built in clip makes carrying it a breeze. Finally, the thing's damn near indestructible. I've banged it dozens of times, and it's still going strong. It hard to drop the thing too because it's so light, it just stays attached to your headphones if it comes loose from your clothing.

Since I'm in the US, I don't know if £49 is a good price for it, but I presume you Brits would know. I paid $49 for refurb one straight from Apple and it works perfectly. Best $49 I spent on a gadget. I like it a lot better than the Nano because it's so much easier to carry.
