Dual CPU operating systems

My options are Linux, 2kPro, or XP I would like to be able to just fire it up and go, so 2kPro or XP are my ideal choices short term, which is better at handling Dual CPU's?

I believe the Mandrake installer automatically detects SMP configurations and installs the proper kernel, but even if it doesn't the Linux kernel isn't hard to make and setup to boot, there is a good guide at www.2cpu.com

Personally, I think you should go for 2K/XP/Linux triple boot with all Windows applications installed on a seperate VFAT32 partition so you can run them on either Windows or on Linux through emulation of some sort.

You've got to use the windows boot loader to boot a lilo/grub image, then use that to boot Linux.
