Help making a Linux web server

I just installed Mandrake 8.0 on a P133 96MB 1.6 HD 10/100Nic and it is slow in GUI but I bet if i install on a much faster system that it will perform alot better. I need to make this a web server that is on the network running apache, php, perl, python, mysql.

Anyone have any ideas on what distros I should choose when installing ?
(forgive since I am just learning linux)

Mandrake will do it. 8.0 is a pain for a beginner to set up, 8.1 is much easier as the web server is automatically enabled. Still, setting up servers in Linux isn't easy for a beginner like me. I still like Mandrake, but actually got Debian to install and work!!!! Only the discover that F@H 2.10 for Linux is SLOWWWWW. Not cool.
