| Sorry for silly question... I have what, to some of you, will be a very elementary question.
What do the Via4in1 drivers do? help control traffic on the mboard?
I've also heard of the AGP410 drivers from Via, not sure what they do either, what do they do?
My system is generally pretty stable, but when it does have lockups, I don't know whether its from WinME or the board. System in question is as follows:
Epox 8K7A+
1.4@1.4 Tbird
512 PC2100
ATI radeon 64ddr w/tv out
SB Live! 5.1 value
would it be beneficial to update to newest 4in1 drivers and to the AGP410 driver?
I am new to Via chips/chipsets and have had no experience with driver issues with them.
btw, the main reason I'm asking instead of just doing it is this quote from the via website:
"If you have a hybrid chipset (ie. VIA southbridge and AMD northbridge), please contact your motherboard manufacturer for the correct drivers."
