Mozilla Thunderbird....

Well since I ditched IE a while a go I thought I'd try Thunderbird and give Outlook Express the boot too.

I've setup my main ISP email address ok but how do I get it to check my Hotmail accounts as well?
Are there any nifty features I should be aware of?

Checking of Hotmail accounts is a feature provided only by Outlook and Outlook Express - M$ have been rather cagey about how they do this. I'm sure some bright spark will find a way to copy their protocol one day

As for nifty features - add your own. Thunderbird has a load of extensions available: see
here

Hi Kaitain, thanks for the link. I've just downloaded some themes for starters but what do you do with them? Unpack them then......?

Tools -> Options -> Extentions -> Install New Extension for extensions
Tools -> Options -> Themes -> Install New Themes for themes
