Is this the Amiga OS that's for PC's? Or is it for Amiga mosheens?

Amiga's were WAY before their time. Is there really any point in using the Amiga OS that's for PC's?

It's nice to see the erstwhile silent Amiga Inc doing something good for a change. The previous Workbench "updates" were little more than service packs for v3.1

cloasters, it's for PPC based systems - using the same generation of PowerPC chips that some Macs used a while back. When Amiga Inc. bought the licence to Amigas from the (briefly existent) Amiga International (run by EsCom), they encouraged some hardware manufacturers to come up with some new paths for migs to take. Blizzard, among others, produced PPC accelerator cards, and PCI/AGP buses to allow PC gfx cards to be used in conjunction with the native chips.

I haven't really kept up with details since then, since I jumped ship along with many others when it seemed that despite promises of a new machine, none would ever arrive.
