Quicktime broken logo

Having a problem with the broken logo symptom with Firefox. I have the latest version of quicktime and have checked all the boxes in MIME settings and FILE associations etc. Some of the Quicktime features work but some banners are broken on sites .Also some sites that have the intro in quicktime ,if its broken then I cant enter the site.
Any ideas?

Try uninstalling it completely, then reinstall it... best of luck!
