| Well, it doesn't really work when not in safe. The reason is, when in safe mode, you unload all of the drivers with the exception of core windows drivers. When in normal runmode, those drivers are in use, and cannot be removed. Did you try making a link on the desktop to drivercleaner? Or just navigating to the drivercleaner directory and then running its executable manually.

| I have not tried to run it manually, but i will have to. I have a shortcut to it on my desktop, but in safe mode it is not there. I even have a quik link to it on my task bar, but its not there in safe mode either, its very strange. |

| Most likely because safe mode logs you in as "Administrator" while your normal user account is your name or something. It would make sense then.

| Yeah, it logs me in as admin, so that makes sense. i just installed the new drivers and ran DCPro manually and it worked fine. The new control panel is very odd, and i had to reinstall coolbits so i could overclock, and even then the new control panel doesnt give me the option of manual overclocking, only automatic or none...wierd. |

| Use NVtweak, not coolbits. coolbits is a bit long in the tooth.

| Don't bother. Coolbits isn't a program, its just a set of registry values that are applied. NVTweak is the same, just more in depth, and uses a program rather than a .reg file. So you can install NVtweak once, and apply it to all of the drivers you install. Good fun. It just gives more options than coolbits, and coolbits is somewhat outdated these days.

| Cool, thanks for the info.....by the way, if you have not tried the newest Nvidia drivers i uploaded, i highly recommend them, they have great performance in games and awesome IQ, both in games and video. These are the best drivers i have seen in quite some time. |
