For my current line of work, if Oracle supported Linux, without actually bringing out its own OS can only be good, it may even make way for Mac support in the future.

Working for a University has many challenges, and being the primary support for our Student Admin program, which is originally from the company Peoplesoft, now Oracle, having cross platform support would actually make my job easier.

In the different faculties, we have people using any number of different OS's, with only MS supported. This creates alot of frustration, for all concerned, and with the expense of terminal servers not being justified, I can only welcome this news.
