Hmmm, madcatmk3, I don't really follow your reasoning. putting aside all the open source vs closed source arguments. One is free and reasonably secure, but costs slightly more to train people for. The other costs money to aquire, is less secure, but people already know how to use it (for the most part) Personally I would rather have the more secure system, and one that anyone can use, because it is free. It is also better to have governments dependant on a world wide enthusiast network than have them dependant on a world wide money grabbing liberty eroding (DRM) machine. *note for all you people out there, the above is all just my opinion*
