Open-source shuffle at Novell

Jeremey Allison, a high-profile developer of Samba, has resigned from Novell to go to work at Google, where he will continue his work on Samba, as reported by CNET. At the same time, Hubert Mantel (a co-founder of Suse Linux) has come back to Novell after leaving a year ago.

Personally, I don't like what Novell did to SuSE 10.0. It's no longer user friendly and an outstanding flavor of Linux. Novell can bite someone's crank as far as I'm concerned. SuSE should have held out for more money, IMO.
