Missing "My Computer" icon.

A friend wants to know how to restore the missing "My Computer" icon on her XP desktop. Little assistance, please. Thank you for taking the time.

Go to display properties, desktop, then click on customize desktop. the my computer icon can be replaced from there i think.

also may need to have start menu set to classic... but I cant remember
