Is IE7 that bad? Come to think of it, is IE6 even that bad?

IE 6 is absolutely horrid when it comes to support of current standards. This is not terribly surprising, considering that many of the standards didn't exist as standards until after IE 6 came out. IE 7 is better, but still has some significant issues, AIUI.

The fact is that support of IE6 and IE7 are the bane of existence for the typical webmaster. If you knew what I went through to get the code for AOAFiles to render similarly in IE, FF, and Opera, it would make you want to shoot blood from your eye sockets. FF and Opera were easy (well, except for that annoying HR bug that STILL hasn't been fixed). IE was a pig.

Whenever MS talks about security, I think DRM. Personally I think MS is far more concerned about protecting MS than it ever will be concerned about protecting their customers.

Ms has shown itself willing to forgo my security to try to gain advantages for it self...at every turn.

It's not until you try to produce websites, code, etc., that you start to realise just how Mickey Mouse Microsoft really is. If MS built cars, the exhaust would be attached with duct tape.

I find that to be more true today than ever before. Bill Bashing may not be a form of constructive criticism,
however, finding the rite name to call him will go a long way with me. just look at the face on that qute
penguin. he wouldn't steal your stuff!
