Firefox overtakes IE

for browsing isohunt (had you there)

I noticed this when perusing isohunt for perfectly legitimate, entirely non-illegal reasons lol. Not quite sure what this tells us about Firefox users, but still, kudos to the folks at Mozilla, it seems they are taking abck the web, if only in a rather literal way via peer to peer.

Firefox has not overtaken IE and never will.

Never is such a big word for a man to use...5 years tops is my guess and sooner would be my thought. Why use their browser if they no longer make an OS? ":O}

I know of more and more people using firefox.
Once they realise the compatability is there, often they stop using IE for anything except MS updates.

Some of them I manage to convert to opera, but on the whole there seems to be a general trend towards using firefox.

I agree with Daniel - 5 yrs and thing will be so very different.

I think it will take more than five years for Firefox to be used by everyone more than IE.

I took a quick look at the AOA graphs, and over the last year it looks much more interesting than some people might have otherwise assumed... The red line is Firefox, the blue is IE. The green happens to be Opera.

However, both of these comparisons are from a particular user demographic.
If you were to look at stats for say, the BBC, I'm pretty sure the gap would be much wider than that.

Today. Yesturday they were even futher apart. It's called change. It varies not only in speed and and direction, but in outcomes and new beginings. Hey AP! Once upon a time I was here and MS was not.

Makes rather easier to understand I can be here when MS is no more.
