In defence of Vista, the box is pretty cool.

There's potential for a marketing slogan in there.

"Vista: ...At least the box is nice"

I went to a quiz this saturday. Several questions had pieces of film projected on two large screens. However the quiz organizers used Vista and came upon some unexpected surprises
Jerky movement, unresponsive beamer software and whatnot. It delayed the whole quiz with more than one hour.

Needless to say and in light of this above context, a SP1 release won't be one day too soon.

The box looks like it is modelled on the Office 2004 for Mac, just with a fancy curve on 1 corner

WOW That's some box! I'd love to have a Box like that! Someone should mod an external hard drive into that box!

I never thought I'd say this, but MS really has pulled off a rather decent box this time! Well done MS!

( Now if we could just get them to stop trying to piggy back their outdated OS onto this great box and to just bring to market a good clean strong looking box without all the the bells and whistles...
