Thumbs up Works Perfectly with my EVGA 8800GTS

If nobody has tried this out and tested it then do...
I got rid of ATiTool & RivaTuner since version 1.10 and it works perfectly!!!
Not only that, but it leaves a small memory footprint (5,196kb) unlike RivaTuner & ATiTool does.
My memory usage went from 21% down to 19%. For even less memory usage just exit Precision and your OC & fan settings hold while gaming.
Then after your done playing a game, start Precision up again and set your graphics card back to default clock & fan settings.

Precision now has everything I wanted (settings) that the others had, so this is all I use now.
I like the fact that you can have individual fan settings along with clock speeds for each profile you save. So when you run higher clocks while gaming you can also have the fan running faster to keep it cool! But when just surfing the web & stuff you can put it back to default clocks & fan so its nice and quite...

Since EVGA insists on people who download it to be members perhaps they want to keep track on their downloads ? Is it right to host it here ?

There are a number of sites on the web hosting it, however they DID apparently specifically ask NGOHQ to remove it from their site. They've also apparently asked other sites to remove it as well (though a number still have it up). I'm going to go ahead and pull it, though.

I'd guess they want people to visit their site to download it, so they see all the latest products shown there.

You did good! We don't want to host anything that others have created and wish to maintain control of.

No worries dude. You didn't know, and you didn't act with malicious intent. That's why we investigate stuff just to be sure.

Im pretty sure they just want to track the number of people downloading it so they can see if its worth supporting and updating it thats all.
