Microsoft taking a sip of Midori

Written by Daniel

Yes, Microsoft is pursuing a different type of operating system, which goes by the name of Midori. And, no, it's not the next version of Windows.

I can't imagine the utter chaos the computer world would be in if Redmond goes to a whole new platform.
First: It won't work well. That is a given. They haven't put out a release yet that worked right out of the box, and they were working with the core of their own product.
Second: There will be compatibility issues to many to count. Both software and hardware. Microsoft forced a lot of companies into some changes with Vista. I know Asrock had to drop 2 motherboard lines because of Vista. Hardware with them and others are obsolete. Software was probably the same. Vista has a lot of compatibility issues. Imagine a new platform.
What a mess.
This will be global. Microsoft will force it into the market as they do all their products. That little license to sell Microsoft products.
