There's only 3 "must have" extensions I use with Firefox 3.

1. IE Tab (With this you can switch to the Explorer engine without leaving FF! This means you can use MS Updates using FF.)

2. NoScript ( A must have for security reasons to prevent sites from running scripts in the background & allow only what you want to run! Some scripts can be very bad like Trojan or Malware installations.)

3. Video Download Helper (With this you can download Flash vids off of Youtube & Google video along with other sites that use FLV videos)
