If your applications run fine in XP, and you have only 100 desktops to support, why would you upgrade to Windows 7 at this point? Currently Windows XP will continue to have security patches until April 2014. Assuming that driver support for XP continues until then, if you had 100 desktops, you might well be better off waiting for the next version of Windows after 7 perhaps?
